Arse Not Class

I get the Aussie love for the Larrikin - Ned Kelly and all that - but watching Warne behave like a spoiled 14 year old while in his 40's seems to make much less sense than when he was throwing a wobbly at 25.

Bronzed Up

No pressure Warney. You just gotta use a different  MCG entrance until you can get your head around yourself.

Cricket? No!

OK, it has nothing to do with cricket but I couldn't help having a play with this image. It may be too late for Ricky Pointing to copy the hair do, and perhaps too much of a stretch for Shane Warne.

A Not So Secret Saviour/Santa/Spinner

As an interested, but not hugely committed, bystander I think this is going to be a fun month. One loss and we are already into silly season.

Why stop at bringing back Warne? Richie could still roll his arm over (and of course set a decent field), Tubs could block up one end and Glen McGrath must be out there somewhere just waiting to be asked.

For a more detailed description of why bringing Warne back just won't work visit Uncle Jrod for a good quality rant.

A Real Trooper

The ends Warney will go to just to support the sponsor. Lighting up the Dunhill golf tournament was just another day in the life of a legend about town.

Just Good Friends

I have been looking back over some images from last summer and came across this little gem - something to make me smile while it buckets down outside.

Could be a good picture for a caption competition, any suggestions?

Competitive Wisdom

In a recent post we saw Mikey giving instruction on the green sward, but there are other ways. Just because you get a little older it doesn't mean you loose your taste for competition and Warney relishes the challenge. Who knows how many future stars might be inspired by seeing him ply his trade first hand. One thing is for sure, they are not going to get the better of him easily.
