Rain Delay
These guys aren't depressed by the rain. They know it is only a matter of time before their hero makes it back on the field.

Breath Deep The Gathering Gloom
The England boys probably don't wax quite that lyrical. Trotty seems to be in more of a "not more bloody rain" mind set.

And Why Should Pallekele Be Any Different?
If there is cricket there must be rain, be it Pallekele or any damn where in England.
It should be of little consolation to anyone that we in Taranaki are basking in our second week of mid winter sunshine!
Who is going to write the definitive work on global warming and the change in sporting seasons?

British Energy
I admire the hell out of the British spectator. The perfect embodiment of stoic resolve. It seems only right that occasionally the clouds should lift and they be treated to a sunny and spectacular test match finish.

Ain't No Sunshine - Then They're Gone
The loneliness of the early season spectator. Be it The Wanderers or, God(s) help us, Dunedin in November, the chances of a full days play are always stacked against the keen cricket viewer at this time of year.
Hopefully we can rely on the Aussies to produce enough fine days or else I may have to watch the Indian wickets slowly crush the life out of a test match or two.
All that cricket and so little to watch.
