Taking It On The Chin
Matthew Wade gets a blast from the past and a bit of a feel for how it was touring the West Indies in days gone by.

Just Like Kissing Your Sister
It might have been a tie but the look on Darren Sammy's face suggests that it wasn't quite enough for him, and there is no suggestion of kissing any ones relation.

A Little Bit Of Body Language
It is never hard to tell who is winning in a game of cricket. The posture tends to tell the story without having to look at the scoreboard.

So Juicy He Can Taste It
Rob Nicol is not sure whether to eat it, catch it or do an impromptu haka.
JP Duminy's body language just says "get it over with".

Pulverised In Paarl
It would appear that Sri Lanka paid more attention to the scenery than they did to the game of cricket. It takes a bit of pressure of that other team that scored 47 a few months back.

Won At Last
Darren Sammy gives thanks to the cricketing gods for their long awaited win over India. There is something special about the fella, both the camera and the powers above seem to love him.

Home And Away
Amazing how a change of venue can change the result. The look on Samit Patel and Ravinda Jadeja's faces tell the age old story of victory and defeat. The twist was the fact that so few Indian spectators turned up to enjoy the pay back.

One and Done
I hope Michael Clarke's tattoo is an insightful phrase that will help him overcome the disappointment of a classic one run innings.

A Sparkling Shot
Jonny Bairstow gives it plenty of welly as he announces himself on the one day stage.
41 of 29 balls when it looked like India was going to finally win one is certainly one for the scrapbook.

Oh The Pain Of It All
Rohit Sharma seems less than impressed with the attentions of the team physio. The fact that the rain meant all that pain was in vain probably didn't cheer him up any.

You're Outta Here
You gotta love Malinga energy - it might reside in his hair or that magic red jewel on the back of his boot.

See You Jimmy...
... and Swanny, and Broady.
Young Dinesh Chandimal looks even younger than he really is but he certainly can swing that big bat.
It will interesting to see if he can kick on from the "great Lords innings" start that has bedeviled a few before him.

Caption Time
Chris Gayle had a fun day out at the cricket. Any thoughts about just what he might being yelling from the sidelines?

Let's Look At The Old Scoreboard
Stare as hard as he likes, Bandrinath is still going to get the same sad result. A pity because it was a great dive.

Very Solid
But very slow.
Kirk Edwards is showing great classical form in this image but with 21 off 78 balls in a ODI it must have seemed like he was building a picket fence to those who had to watch.

South Africa Implodes
We have said it many times before - "that's why they play the game". All Black supporters can tell you in great detail how a tournament is essentially a series of one off opportunities - get it wrong and your gone.
Great result for the Black Caps, but what really cheered me up was the fact that they showed some spine and aggression.
