Welcome To The Club
The guy with 343 test wickets can still remember what it feel like to get your first - well done Moeen Ali.

100 to 1
The Strauss knows.
He understands.
He plays a cruel game that only occasionally allows the sentimental card to be played.
There is always test number 101.

Old Reliable
It may be a little harder to get his arms around him now days but Smith knows he can rely on JK when it comes to the crucial moments.

Bi Polar Jimmy
Nothing like a days test cricket to put you through the emotional wringer. Funny how the fast bowlers seem to be prone to the greatest mood swings.
Jimmy was cheered up with the help of Photoshop CS5.

Funny Old Game
The Lords Test might have been the 2000th ever played but it was a bit quirky in the way it all happened.
This image of MS Dhoni taking off the pads and having a bowl captures one of the odder moments in the game.

An Appealing Days Cricket
OK, there were a lot of injuries and back stories, but any test match that is decided in the sunshine during the last session can't be too bad a cricket event.
I wish Broad would stop picking on poor old Billy - all that yelling can't be good for Bowden's arthritis. While on Broad I propose a new nick name - Broad The Bunny Killer!

Well Done That Man
Firstly, well done the old fella for manfully keeping The Terry hat tradition alive. Not so sure about the trousers.
Secondly, thanks to Livin' on the Outside Edge for bringing this great pick to my attention in a recent post.
Thirdly, good luck Sachin. There are very few people who would not like to see a fairytale 100 on the last day at Lords.

The Flying Buttress
Dravid celebrating the fact he is once again the foundation of an Indian innings. Not a great Indian batting display but where would they have been without their rock?

One May Be Enough
No equity on this blog. MS is so bright and positive in this image I couldn't bring myself to double up the image - just too scary.
It looks like he is very keen to get going at Lords. I for one am very keen to watch.

It's Such A Perfect Day
... especially for those of us who just wanted to put our feet up and watch some competitive test cricket played in a magical sunny setting.
