Showing The Maker's Name

The Sunrisers got a great deal on Kane Williamson. He has the talent to show that correct and precise shot making is the equal of boom and bust.

The Pink Performer

Perhaps Kane Williamson's batting has flourished without the added pressure of having to bowl? Whatever the reason, long may it he be "in the pink".

Good Luck Kane Williamson

There is little doubt that KW is the future, but it will take more than youthful enthusiasm and quiet determination to turn his first go into a one day success story. A little help from his fragile team mates would not go amiss.

Stripped Down Kane

If the first test saw Bhaji finally fulfill his batting promise it also saw Kane Williamson announce himself as a batsman of quality. There are plenty of players who can give it a thrash and have a good day, but Williamson's innings was mature and correct. Desperately Seeking Kane

I know I said I wouldn't do a picture of Kane Williamson until he scored a run but Jrod is in Sri Lanka looking for gods and slightly famous people so I promised I would post an image of the youngster for identification purposes.

It could be a little tricky 'cause in this one he is looking good scoring runs.

We loyal Kiwis know it is only a matter of time before he becomes a dominant force, and let's face it, he has got about 14 years to develop.

Out Swinging

Kumar Sangakkara is getting a bit of arc on the old helmet in this one but he need not have been too dismayed. They controlled the game from early on and the Balckcaps proved my theory of not expecting too much of them.

I will not do a picture of Kane Williamson until the poor lad scores a run.
