Serious Stuff

Ok, I love what they have achieved, but I am even more pleased with the hard arsed manner in which they went about it. It is the sort of attitudinal stake in the ground that a team can build a culture around. Long may the Black Caps take things seriously.

Introducing Corey Anderson

It was a surreal setting and situation, but there was no doubting the class and power that Anderson displayed in breaking Afridi's record for the fastest hundred. It will be fascinating to watch and see wether that innings is a springboard to greatness or it becomes a  dead weight of expectation.

Just to add further pressure on the young man, he does have the look of a young Martin Crowe!

Amazing how a mere 22 yards can separate players who can see every thing clearly from those who can't see a damn thing.

Brutal

Not so much the barrage of bouncers but the wimpy way the Black Caps lost 5 wickets for no/zero/naught/bugger all runs.
