Padding Up

After watching a few games of The Big Bash it is good to contemplate Mushfiqur Rahim and the almost lost art of padding up.

Mushfiqur accumulated close to 100 runs in the second test at a strike rate somewhere in the 30's - stirring stuff for the purist.

Well Done Young Man

Spare a thought for this young fella. While all the fuss is going on across the ditch he is passing fifty in both innings of his debut test - and hardly gets a mention. A very good effort, and even more important for Bangladesh who need a top order as desperately as the Black Caps do.
