Over The Top

Yep it is the same image as the last post but how often does a number 11 score 95 in a test match - until this week that would be never. It was certainly an innings that brought some Windies sunshine to a bleak old Edgebaston.

Tino The Best

The greatness of this game is that almost nothing is impossible. Just when you think you have it figured out something truly amazing happens and you might notice it is almost always in the test arena!

"Cheer Up Belly...

... if you try really hard you might be able to catch a cold."

Pas de Deux

Their teams might be heading in different directions but Prior and Tendulkar are all poise and grace in this image.

Make Your Own Fun Fellas

When there is only one side playing quality test cricket on the field your average spectator can be forgiven for creating a bit of a distraction. No stones, no riot shields, just a lot of beer and a winning feeling.

Unsung Heroes Of Cricket

The groundsman - fiery, intense, hardworking, passionate, grumpy and tough.

One, Two, Oops

Dazed And Confused

Mitchell Johnson has decided to push his cause as an all rounder by showing that he can do everything at the same time.

His novel strategy of wearing pads to bowl is a subtle suck up to the captain - "win the toss and whatever you decide to do , I am ready Punter".

Stand Tall You Mighty Oak

200 test wickets is reason enough to stick your chest out and yell, besides if it is good enough for that Andre fella...

The rot may have been arrested but it could still be a little early to predict the "great redemption".

King Cricket has an outstanding written description of the build up to this event. "Summon the angel of bilious rage" is a great line.
