... is a bowling attack! A Christmas wish from this Black Cap supporter but there are a few other countries out there who would like to see a bowling up grade in their stocking.

Another New Attack

Oh please, please, please let these two be the start of something new and effective for the Black Caps. If nothing else they at least have some youthful enthusiasm to balance the middle aged sense of entitlement we have grown used to.

Serious Stuff

Tim Southee is the picture of serious concentration as he prepares to deliver yet another ball in what has become a very pedestrian affair at the Basin. A degrading tropical cyclone should liven things up tomorrow and mean that all the serious endeavour ends in a tame draw. Which should save the umpires from making any more mistakes for a day or two.

Great Minds Think Alike

And then of course there are the average minds that are all over the place like a mad woman's washing.

I do think they have a plan, it is just that they lack the mental strength to execute it.

Self Abuse

Tim Southee, showing an excellent appreciation of current events, gives himself a slap rather than have his captain do it for him.

Lets face it, any one allowing Rob Key, obviously inspired by yesterdays post, to score 170 not out deserves a good slapping.

There has been no report of players crying, but John Bracewell was seen to blow his nose, possibly in frustration.
