Apparently Rob Key is on an all Champagne diet but it is making him frisky and aggressive.

Rob Key swells with pride at taking his first ever first class wicket. The batsman's reaction was not recorded.

Rob has wintered well in the south seas and is reportedly working hard at his new role as all rounder (pun intended).

Tim Southee, showing an excellent appreciation of current events, gives himself a slap rather than have his captain do it for him.

Lets face it, any one allowing Rob Key, obviously inspired by yesterdays post, to score 170 not out deserves a good slapping.

There has been no report of players crying, but John Bracewell was seen to blow his nose, possibly in frustration.

Battle of the Bulge

Could it happen on this tour? A battle between the big fellas, Jesse Ryder and Rob Key. A mouth watering prospect not seen since the days of Colin Milburn and Kiwi Keith Thomson, and one well worth a bas relief.
