One man, one ball, 600 wickets - well not all with the same ball but you know what I mean. Well done Anil Kumble, history might show that this era had three great spinners not just the two.

Our poll has closed and Anil Kumble seems surprised to have done as well as he has. He shouldn't be, he and Murali are the two best spinners in the current game.

Of course Murali has that special elbow and Kumble has those special fingers and a chin that hypnotizes batsman. Whatever their natural advantages they are bloody good to watch.

Hands Up

If it is good enough to immortalise Murali and Warnies hands for a trophy then surely the great Kumble's long digits should find a place for posterity. While they were at it they could take a cast of that magnificent chin as well.
