Ryan ten Doeschate seems a little overwhelmed. It could be culture shock, it could be colour shock, or he just might be trying to remember which team he is playing for this week.

...like it or not. The World Cup (50 over version) is almost upon us and what better way to celebrate the event than with giant plastic replicas of the trophy. I am hoping the tournament is at least as colourful as the trophies.

The Big Blue ...?

It has been a week of strange animal figures and this one doesn't even have a name - yet.

The folks in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh get to host the 2011 World Cup, why should they be the only ones who get to name the mascot?

I am looking for some suggestions here people. If we get enough we might even get all democratic and have a vote - or a revolution.
