The Send Off

Kagiso Rabada is working hard at developing that all important fast bowler skill, the send off. He is cutting his teeth on the newbies before working his way up to the Smiths and Warners.

Head Down, Bum Up

Carberry will need to keep his head down and graft a lot longer on day three before we will forget the goober of a catch he was unable to take on day one.

A Serious Beginning

Young Ben Stokes is pictured taking his first test match very seriously, and so he should. In fact it was a good tough first days cricket all round, lets hope it stays tough not bitter.

It also took my mind of the  less than amusing Basin Reserve debacle.

For You Are Young And Free

Mathew Hayden celebrates curing world hunger; it couldn't just be 100, he's already done that 29 times before.

To be fair, and I usually don't see the need, his home is girt by sea!

Nelsons

One eye, one tongue, one ball!

Will he get the chance to be unlucky for India? It is perhaps just as well that the Auusies unlucky number is 87 not 111.
