Another Great White Hope

I know you are all marveling at the wonders of Dale Styen at present but those of us in Black Cap Land are quietly excited(?) about this Andy McKay.

A left armer who can swing the ball at pace, and with accuracy, does not happen along every day in NZ.

Yes the Aussies will be a sterner test, but with James Franklin the next best left arm pace man, you can't blame us for jumping on the bandwagon fairly quickly.

I wanted to ask you if he was Clint McKay's brother. Maybe the storks dropped him in the wrong island.

No relation as far as I know and I would say Clint has the edge in the looks department. Not that I am any sort of judge of such things.

I looked them both up and you are correct about the looks thing! But Andy is 29! How is he a great hope??

Peter Ingram is 31and I am very hopeful there - remember hope doesn't have to make sense.
