
People keep bagging the ODI, and declaring it's demise, but what can you expect when you provide sub standard wickets and a strange old format. If you want something to be a success surely you have to give it a chance. If you want it to succeed that is!

One of the reasons people (well this one anyway) have been bagging ODIs is the predictable way bat has dominated ball.
Rule changes, dead pitches, shrinking boundaries etc...
So I’m loving this. Breath of fresh air.
fair enough , so long as it is not the toss that decides the game.
Yeah, the toss aspect is the only down-side of a ripper of a pitch like that.
But take other type of pitch, like Adelaide, and I’m sure the team batting first wins >80% of matches there (no research, just a feeling)
