Fast Bowler Attitude

The ball might be coming through in the high 120 km's, but there is no doubting Anya Shrubsole is a genuine fast bowler. Big, aggressive and in your face she is good enough to bully the batsman and that has to be good for woman's cricket.

Winners Are Grinners

Well done The Lady England. No matter how bitter, twisted or one eyed I try and be, there is no way I can deny they were by far the best team. Again.

Does any one else think that the trophy looks like something (bad) from the 1970's?

Watkins (nee Mason)

Marriage and captaincy seem to be agreeing with our favourite female cricketer. As a captain, all rounder, there is always a way do be involved in the game and our Aimee always seems to grab at least one opportunity to shine.

You go girl.

Its A Ladies Thing

I have added a new blog to my Publish or Perish list with No Ballz joining the less than select. It is a brave blogger who admits to being interested in women and cricket in the same sentence especially when residing in the outback. It does however give me a chance to reprise an image of my favourite female cricketer, and local legend, Aimee Mason. Go the girls!

Effort Ball

We like Isa Guha.

Not only does she look good in a cricket outfit but she has the "eye of the tiger" when it comes to actually playing.

New Frontiers

Maybe IPL is the future? But God I hope not.

Maybe the future is women's cricket? If it is, they will at least be better dressed than those glow in the dark 20/20 wallahs.
