Yes I know they got beat, and the whole thing could be played in half the time without them, but it would be hard to deny the "minnows" the joy they get from being at the big dance.

I am a little confused though as the good people at Getty Images (who I have the geatest respect for) labeled this as Canada's Manny Aulakh taking the bath. A quick check of the scoreboard seems to suggest that Manny didn't actually play. Seems a back rub and ice bath is a bit over the top after carrying the drinks.

But then I could have got things wrong. It happened once in 1992.
