Despite all the heat of the moment controversy, in the end The Krab will be remembered for the shots he  played - well his cut shot anyway.

Whatever title you give to it, Simon Katich has gone from Australian Test Cricketer of the Year 2010 to "not good enough to be in the top 25" in a short space of time.

It will be interesting to see if the legendary Aussie cricket depth is really legendary or just a touch mythical.
