A Captain's Cuddle

Every captain has his own style but there is something about this image that makes me uneasy , although not as uneasy as poor old Ravi.

The slap on the bum is all very well but are we ready for the mid field cuddle, or worse?

A Slight Obsession

It's my problem and I am trying to deal with it. I just can't stop playing with images of Andre Nel, he is just so damn photogenic. I promise the next image will be of someone much less interesting.

With a Rebel Nel

Yahoo, my favourite nut job is back and dangerous.

And what a pity Michael Vaughan got his fourth "good ball" of the series. At least he didn't have to wait a long time for it.

No Draw This

Wee Jimmy Anderson is entitled to be happy on a day that set up a result and improved quite a few bowlers figures. The Evil Penguin does seem to have a problem keeping that three stick castle intact at the moment.

Good Triumphs Over Evil

The Lion of Huddersfield comprehensively defeats the Evil Penguin.

A fable?
An allegory?
A cautionary tale?
Or just a good ball and a piss poor shot!

Dis Steyn

A fellow blogger recently described Dale Steyn as a bit quicker than James Anderson and slightly more accurate. A masterful understatement.

Mr Steyn's eyes convey a deep hatred for all things batting, with the strength to back up his deeply held convictions. Wee Jimmy Anderson, on the other hand, gives the impression he just needs a jolly good cuddle.

Please note this was written before the Lord's Test started, but posted after day one. Steyn 1 for 68, my ability to lay a curse continues to grow stronger!

Kallis Of The Antarctic

Can you say goober!

It is a testament to how much the modern cricketer gets paid to think that this guy can attract fantastic looking women.
