Farewell To Arms

Good to see both sides appreciate the big man. I for one think it was appropriate that he didn't get the record, not because he didn't deserve it but because it summed up what Inzi was about - attack not accumulation.

While a run out would have been the most likely dismissal a stumping was a nice quirky way to end things.

Neither Hair Nor There

To quote reuters.uk "Batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq returns to the Pakistan team for the second test against South Africa on Monday needing 20 runs in his final match before retiring to become his country's top run scorer"

Now records are all very well but perhaps a man should be judged on his total body of work. In Inzi's case it is a big and very impressive body no matter how many runs he scores in his last test.
