Some Things Must Change?

Please!*!

Tony Greig and Ian Chappell are seen here talking about the pitch in 1975. Is it not about time they stopped and did something else?

Watching a fairly boring "summer of cricket" has highlighted the need for more changes in the commentary team. Keep Bill Lawry, if you must, but give us a break from these dinosaurs.

Even prime ministers and presidents have to give it away sometime.

An Empathetic Moment

And that Punter is exactly how I feel when faced with the prospect of another "live" commentary by Bill Lawry and Tony Greig.

Old Character

Our last post asked the question about the relative strengths of the two cricket circuses. Sportsfreak made an insightful comment about the new breed being of greater character. I am not sure about that but look at this young Tony Greig, fresh faced, blond and on the look out for the next opportunity.

Who could doubt his contribution to cricket over the next 30 years?

Time eh - its a bitch.
