Where More Than Two Gather With A Bat

I am not usually philosophical or political but it strikes me that the game of cricket appeals to such a wide range of cultures and societies that it must have huge potential to bring people together rather than set them apart. Perhaps we could do away with international cricket and just let people play at a purely club level and then see what develops - this scenario could yet occur no matter what the ICC does.
