Neither Hair Nor There

To quote reuters.uk "Batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq returns to the Pakistan team for the second test against South Africa on Monday needing 20 runs in his final match before retiring to become his country's top run scorer"

Now records are all very well but perhaps a man should be judged on his total body of work. In Inzi's case it is a big and very impressive body no matter how many runs he scores in his last test.

Old Values, Modern Man

One of the strengths of modern cricket is that the game is still able to support a wide range of personalities, beliefs and cultures. Many other pro sports have developed a stereotypical player - not so cricket. Although some teams have developed a stereotypical result!

All power to young Amla as I am sure he is going to feel at home at the crease in Pakistan.
